Delta Air Lines and TSA are separately investigating how a passenger evaded two boarding pass checks and took a flight from New York’s JFK Airport to Paris on Tuesday without a ticket, raising serious security concerns.

The woman was discovered mid-flight and detained by French authorities upon landing.

She bypassed multiple TSA checkpoints, including ID and document verification, but underwent physical screening. The authorities are investigating how she accessed the boarding gate and aircraft, informed Delta officials.

Several similar stowaway cases have recently highlighted potential vulnerabilities in airport security systems.

In February, a woman sneaked through TSA officers checking for tickets and managed to board an American Airlines flight from Nashville to Los Angeles, where the FBI detained her.

In March, authorities removed a man from a Delta flight who sneaked onto the plane in Salt Lake City. He had a boarding pass for a different carrier’s flight, which was full.
