Intel is set to announce that it will cut 20% of its staff, over 21,000 employees, according to Bloomberg.
The move marks the first step by the struggling chipmaker’s new CEO to turn the company around as he looks to streamline the management and increase focus on engineering.
The company slashed roughly 15,000 jobs last year as well.
