A UK judge ruled that Craig Wright, the Australian computer scientist, is not “Satoshi Nakamoto,” the enigmatic creator of bitcoin.

The judge said he “reached the conclusion that evidence is overwhelming” that he is not Satoshi.

Wright has claimed that he was indeed the mysterious inventor of the cryptocurrency and wrote the Bitcoin Whitepaper detailing the creation and deployment of the crypto’s original reference implementation in 2008. 

Since then, Wright has filed several intellectual property lawsuits.
