Students are rethinking college preferences amid university protests

Antisemitism on college campuses is making students and parents reevaluate their college preferences, with some avoiding schools like Columbia University. 

Schools like Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania are seeing lower application rates, reportedly due to their handling of protests against the Gaza war.

Though students still prefer Columbia for its activism and academic reputation, there is an increase in students and families weighing factors like student safety and campus culture in making enrollment decisions.

The House passed the bipartisan Antisemitism Awareness Act yesterday to help combat antisemitism on college campuses.
