The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards concluded Sunday night with several records set by shows like Adolescence, The Studio, and Severance.
Netflix’s Adolescence dominated with six wins, including best limited or anthology series. Owen Cooper, 15, became the youngest-ever male winner with his supporting actor award, and Stephen Graham, who played the dad, won best actor in that category.
Apple TV+ series The Studio won best comedy series and set a new record for the most wins by a comedy in a single season. It got four wins, including best comedy series and best actor for Seth Rogen.
Severance saw historic wins. Tramell Tillman became the first Black man to win best supporting actor in a drama series; Britt Lower won best actress.
The Pitt claimed best drama series, with Noah Wyle winning best actor in a drama.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert won best talk series, just months after CBS announced its cancellation, receiving a prolonged standing ovation.
