The iconic American sketch show Saturday Night Live is getting a UK version set to debut in 2026. SNL creator Lorne Michaels will be the executive producer, announced Sky—owned by NBC’s parent company Comcast.
It marks SNL’s highest-profile international remake yet, following versions in countries including China and South Korea.
The show will mirror the American version’s live format with rotating hosts and musical guests.
The cast remains under wraps for now, but it’s sure to draw major attention from Britain’s comedy elite.
SNL is now on its 50th season in the US.
