The Swifties and the US economy have yet another Taylor Swift news to rejoice. Her Eras Tour has reportedly grossed over $1 billion ($1,039,263,762), making it the first tour ever to cross the 10-digit threshold, according to Pollstar estimates.

Around 4.3 million tickets were sold at an average price of $238.95 this year.

Swift also brought in $200 million from her merch sales and approximately $250 million from the tickets to her concert movie, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour came in second, grossing $579 million on 56 shows performed in 2023.

It doesn’t end there
Throughout the duration of her ongoing Eras tour, the billionaire pop star is estimated to generate $2 billion.

Her success also reflects a good year for concerts in general. Worldwide, the top 100 concerts saw a 46% jump from last year, bringing in $9.17 billion compared to $6.28 billion in 2022.
