Las Vegas recently debuted the world’s largest spherical structure on the planet, the MSG Sphere—a 366-foot-tall, $2.3 billion venue. Its construction began in 2018 and is wrapped in 1.2 million LEDs.

Since its unveiling on the 4th of July, it has taken social media by storm. On Independence Day, the Sphere displayed digital fireworks and transformed into an American flag. It also transformed into a moon, a creepy eyeball, a Halloween lantern, a water bubble aquarium, and even the Earth at one point.

But the Sphere is not a digital billboard, though it can be as it stands in the world’s entertainment capital. It can seat 17,600 people inside and has a standing capacity of 20,000.

U2 will be christening the venue on September 29.
