McDonald’s is bringing back the popular Snack Wrap on July 10 to help boost sales after a slow first quarter. Same-store sales in the US dropped 3.6%, prompting the fast-food giant to revive the long-demanded item.

Discontinued in 2016, the wraps will return in spicy and ranch flavors, featuring McCrispy Strips launched earlier this year. Fans have been pushing for the wrap’s return for years, and McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski says demand remains strong.

Fast food chicken wars
McDonald’s latest offering competes with chains like Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Raising Cane’s and Dave’s Hot Chicken—all of which have expanded and profited from their chicken menus in recent years.

According to the USDA, chicken consumption in America has steadily increased over the past 60 years, while beef consumption has declined.
