Many records in the Jeffrey Epstein files remain heavily redacted, and the DOJ has said the volume of files has slowed processing
The Justice Department on Tuesday released the first tranche of files related to its investigation of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The documents were released on the deadline set by Congress for unsealing all unclassified records and include tens of thousands of documents, among them photographs of prominent figures, including former President Bill Clinton, President Donald Trump, Diana Ross, and Mick Jagger.
Many records remain heavily redacted, and the DOJ has said the volume of files has slowed processing, and additional documents will be released in the coming weeks.
