Senator Lindsey Graham, 71, died Saturday night from a sudden illness, his office announced yesterday morning.

The untimely and sudden passing of Senator Graham has left a leadership vacuum ahead of the November midterm elections.

Preliminary findings indicate that Graham died of an aortic tear due to cardiovascular disease. He passed away shortly after visiting Ukraine and leaves behind a legacy as a “Trump whisperer.” He was a vocal backer of the American-Israeli relationship and supported the Iran war.

Graham’s death, coupled with growing voter anxiety over the affordability crisis, could test the Republican Party in the upcoming elections.
