Russia’s deadly missile and drone strikes across Ukraine on Sunday faced criticism from President Donald Trump, who called Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin “absolutely crazy” in a Truth Social post.
Before boarding Air Force One, Trump said he’s “absolutely” considering new sanctions against Russia.
According to Ukraine’s Interior Ministry, at least 18 people were killed and 85 injured in the attacks, which also damaged more than 87 residential buildings.
Russia’s sudden attacks come despite it exchanging hundreds of prisoners with Ukraine over the weekend.
