These bills aim to make treatments more affordable, train more doctors and support women at work

More than 20 bills have been introduced in at least 13 states this year to improve menopause care.

These bills aim to make treatments more affordable, train more doctors and support women at work. Many women face severe menopause symptoms, but most doctors get little training on it. Even OB-GYNs sometimes miss the signs or offer little help.

Celebrities like Halle Berry and Oprah are helping raise awareness. Berry spoke to Maine lawmakers and joined a Michigan roundtable to support change.

States are taking action to make menopause care better and more accessible for women.
