According to a Starbucks Workers United spokesperson, 30 locations across the nation were closed

The Starbucks strike spread across nine states by Sunday, with workers in Missouri, New Jersey, and New York joining others from Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Workers United represents 1,000+ workers at over 525 stores.

According to a Starbucks Workers United spokesperson, 30 locations nationwide were closed. The union expects the strike to grow through Tuesday, potentially involving hundreds of stores.

Workers demand wage increases and accuse Starbucks of failing to resolve labor issues.

Starbucks claims it offers competitive pay but says union demands are unsustainable.

Timed for the holiday rush, the strike highlights growing tensions over wages and labor practices.
