Justice Clarence Thomas’s trips, taken between 2017 and 2021, included visits to Montana, Georgia and Northern California and an eight-day yacht excursion in Indonesia

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas failed to disclose three additional private jet trips at the expense of billionaire Harlan Crow, revealed Senate Judiciary Committee documents released on Thursday.

These trips, taken between 2017 and 2021, included visits to Montana, Georgia and Northern California and an eight-day yacht excursion in Indonesia.

Thomas had previously amended his financial disclosures after criticism for failing to report Crow’s gifts.

The disclosure has sparked renewed debate over judicial ethics and transparency at the Supreme Court, especially regarding justices’ relationships with private benefactors.

Meanwhile, Senate Republicans have opposed efforts to impose stricter ethics rules on the justices, framing them as partisan attacks.
