Shares of GameStop rallied for the second time in less than two weeks after Keith Gill—the man who instigated the 2021 rally of the video game retailer—posted a screenshot on Reddit yesterday, suggesting he owns 5 million GME shares worth $115.7 million.
GameStop’s shares were up 19% to $27.58 in overnight trading on Sunday. Gill’s cryptic reverse Uno card image on X got nearly 5.7 million likes.
Gill, also known as DeepF***ingValue on Reddit and Roaring Kitty on YouTube and X, returned to social media on May 13 after a three-year break, causing GameStop’s shares to rise over 110%.
