Shares of YG Plus, a South Korean media company, surged ~30% on Monday (hitting a seven-month high) and 29.8% on Tuesday after a collab track between Rose from Blackpink and Bruno Mars, titled “APT,” reached the top of Spotify’s Top 50 Global Playlist and ranked fourth on iTunes Top 100: Global chart.

The official music video has over 82.9 million views on YouTube, and it has reportedly surpassed Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight” as the biggest male-female duet debut of 2024.

In spite of the boost, the South Korean media company’s stock has declined more than 22% year-to-date amid uncertainty in the global music industry.
