The World’s Greatest Detective is back and is raking in a lot of green.
Since its release on March 4, The Batman has been reigning over the box office.
The Matt Reeves directorial, starring Robert Pattinson, has grossed over $500 million globally on its reported $200 million budget. With a tight grip on the top spot at the box office, it earned more than $300 million in the US alone.
The film is the second biggest hit of the pandemic.
Warner Bros Pictures Chairman Toby Emmerich said in a statement that the company is delighted to see how people “love watching The Batman in theaters.”
