President Joe Biden is considering pardoning some federal student loans he said on Thursday.
"I am not considering $50,000 debt reduction, but I'm in the process of taking a hard look at whether or not there will be additional debt forgiveness, and I'll have an answer on that in the next couple of weeks," President Biden addressed during a speech in the Roosevelt Room at White House.
Since the Biden administration took the Office, the government has forgiven over $17 billion in student loan debts and has extended the repayment deadline multiple times during the COVID-19 pandemic.
