BTS will be visiting the White House to meet President Joe Biden on Tuesday and celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month.
The global K-pop sensation and the President will discuss Asian inclusion and representation and address anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination in the country.
“President Biden and BTS will also discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion and BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who spread a message of hope and positivity across the world,” a White House statement read.
The seven-member band was also given the role of "special presidential envoys for future generations and culture" by the United Nations in 2021.
