Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau introduced legislation that plans to restrict handgun sales, purchases, and imports in the country.
The new move also bans small toys that look like guns.
“As long as Canadians are losing their loved ones to gun violence, not enough has changed,” said Trudeau while talking about the new move.
Notably, the new legislation comes after the Uvalde mass shooting in Texas that killed 19 children and two teachers.
