Congress holds the first UFO meeting in sine 1966|Richard|CC BY 2.0

Government officials Tuesday participated in Congress’ first public hearing on UFOs, or UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) in over 50 years—the last hearing was in 1966.

Defense officials from the Pentagon said they are committed to analyzing and determining the origin of these UFOs.

400 sightings in less than a year
Deputy Director of Navy Intelligence Scott Bray informed that the Pentagon has officially received over 400 sightings since last June. Bray said, "We have no material, we have detected no emanations, within the UAP task force that would suggest it is anything non-terrestrial in origin."

The Deputy Director informed no contact or communication occurred with these entities so far. He claims it is difficult to identify the objects as the sightings are limited in time and may go unrecorded.

There is proof?
Bray shared a couple of short videos and images of unidentified objects and explained how fleeting the sightings are.

As reports of sightings are on a constant rise, Bray concluded by encouraging the Air Force service members and the Pentagon to report anything abnormal while at sea or in flight.
