A New York court has unanimously rejected the defamation suit against the New York Times by former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin. Ms. Palin had filed a libel case against the NY Times over what she claimed was a wrongful association of being involved in the 2011 shooting of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. The case against the NY Times has been levied despite the publication having released a correctional article after former editor James Bennet admitted to succumbing to deadline-related pressure while writing the article.
