‘Die Hard’ franchise actor Bruce Willis sent shockwaves through the entertainment world by announcing his retirement after being diagnosed with Aphasia, a disease that affects the ability to communicate.

Stealing the spotlight in the 1980s comedy-drama ‘Moonlighting,’ Willis appeared in around 100 films throughout his four-decade career and has won a Golden Globe Award and two Emmys.

Willis' family released a statement saying, “This is really a challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your support, love, and compassion.”

Following the announcement, the Golden Raspberry Awards, popularly known as The Razzies, has rescinded its recent award for Bruce Willis, considering his medical condition. The actor’s performance in the sci-fi action film ‘Cosmic Sin’ was awarded the worst performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 movie.
