Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness smashed Fandango’s advanced ticket sales record for 2022.
Advance tickets for the Marvel movie went on sale yesterday, and it took just 20 hours to claim the record, beating The Batman—released last month, which has since grossed $351.8 million at the domestic box office, and $714.5 million, worldwide.

Doctor Strange 2 crashed Fandango’s servers, just like its predecessors Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
