The FBI searched a home on the outskirts of Detroit last Friday, following a breakthrough in the threats made to three people related to the ongoing trial of plotting the kidnap of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Detroit FBI Special Agent Mara Schneider said the intention of the threat made to District Judge Robert Jonker, the attorneys Josh Blanchard and Christopher Gibbons was not disclosed to the public. Also, no arrests have been made concerning the threats.
The attorneys Adam Fox and Barry Croft, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta currently face federal charges for conspiracy to kidnap Governor Whitmer in 2020—to which all have pleaded not guilty.
