Idaho could become the second state in the US to ban abortion after six weeks of fetal growth, which is once the heart beat is detected

The Washington Post reported, Idaho's House voted 51-14 on Monday to approve legislation.

This bill will allow the father, grandparents, sibling, aunt or uncle take legal action against the provider who performed the abortion.

The Senate Bill 1309—also called the Fetal Heartbeat, Preborn Child Protection Act—was passed in the State Senate earlier this month and now is on its way to get signed by Governor Brad Little.

While Idaho’s bill follows the aspects of the Texas Law, they do differ in certain elements.

It is to be noted that once the Texas abortion ban was passed, the state residents turned to out-of-state clinics, recording an 800% increase of patients from Texas.
