Former President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, testified for nearly eight hours Tuesday to the panel investigating the Capitol Hill riot.

Ivanka was questioned as she spent most of the day with her father on January 6, 2021. She provided her testimony virtually.

“She's answering questions. I mean, you know, not in a broad, chatty term, but she's answering questions,” the panel's chairman, Representative Bennie Thompson said, pointing out that she was cooperative throughout her testimony.

Ivanka Trump’s testimony was followed by her husband and former Presidential advisor Jared Kushner, who sat with the committee for over six hours last week.

What next?
No specific information on the details of the testimony has been released yet. Public hearings for the Capitol Hill riot on January 6 last year are speculated to commence in May.
