Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Willard Mitt Romney of Utah joined Susan Collins and announced their support for Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation to the Supreme Court.
If appointed, she will make history as the first Black woman to serve on the nation's top judicial body.
Announcing his support via Twitter, Romney said, “I intend to vote in support of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to be an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.”
