Rapper and Grammy-winning producer Kanye West has reportedly let go of his primary counsel Chris Melcher in his ongoing divorce case with Kim Kardashian. A recent TMZ report revealed that West’s relationship with Melcher “had become extremely difficult, with little communication,” and that the proceedings of the case will now be taken over by attorney Samantha Spector. Spector had recently represented Nicole Young in her divorce case with Dr. Dre. West’s decision to change his attorney is the fourth such incident since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce over a year ago, in February 2021.
