Lithuania becomes first to name Russia a terrorist country, via Facebook
Lithuania's Parliament recognized Russia’s actions against Ukraine as genocide, declaring the country a terrorist state.
With accusations of war crimes piling up against the Kremlin, Lithuania is the first country to make this declaration since the beginning of the invasion more than 10 weeks back.
A statement posted on the country’s Facebook page read, "The war against Ukraine by the Russian Federation is a genocide of the Ukrainian nation carried out by Russia. The Russian Federation is a country that supports and executes terrorism.”
