We could be in the midst of the new covid wave and might not even know it.
With more than 50 politicians in Washington testing positive on April 2, this month has also seen the largest spike in the average number of cases in a month.
Unreported cases
Due to the uptick of at-home COVID-19 tests and reduced testing at clinics, experts opine that many cases are going unreported.
According to Dr Anthony Fauci, people must assess their risk levels. “We are probably underestimating the number of infections we are having now because many of the infections are either without symptoms or minimally symptomatic and you will miss people that do it at home,” he said.
