Microsoft introduces Directstorage, a XBox Series X feature that, according to the company, enhances the gaming experience by faster loading and provides a more detailed gaming world for PC games.
Compatible with Windows 10 and 11 (although it is advisable to utilize Windows 11 for better gaming experience), Microsoft’s low-level storage API will increase data transfers.
Gamers might have to wait until March 22 for the Game Developers Conference for more information on the new API and the games to be released with the technology.
