Delighting fans everywhere, the MLB and MLBPA accepted a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) on Thursday, bringing the 99-day lockout to an end.

The agreement clears the way for the 2022 baseball season to commence on April 7. The previously canceled games stand rescheduled, with a full-season tally of 162 games expected this year.

The new CBA changes include increased minimum salaries for players, with a raise in competitive balance tax.

According to reports, spring training for all teams will start on Sunday, while exhibition games will begin on March 17 or 18.
