An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Washington D.C was forced to land in Kansas City on Sunday after an unruly passenger attempted to barge into the plane’s cockpit. The cabin crew and armed security on board were able to subdue the passenger until the landing. The FBI's Kansas City field office verified the man's arrest but declined to speak further due to the "ongoing matter." His identity has not been disclosed by authorities.
