IT security analyst Emma Majo’s class-action lawsuit against Sony PlayStation has gained new footing as more women open up about their ill-treatment at the firm.

Eight women, including former and current employees, voiced their concerns about the sexist behavior they faced while employed by the gaming company. From a lack of promotion opportunities to facing inappropriate behavior, the women complained about various mistreatments that occurred during their tenure.

Majo’s lawsuit, filed last November for her wrongful termination, saw Sony requesting the court to dismiss the case as there were no specific facts. Majo’s attorney then responded with statements from the eight women, stating the problems they faced and continue to experience at Sony Playstation.

Sony did not respond to the new developments and a hearing is not set to happen until later next month.
