Apple is reportedly preparing to ship a host of new Macs later this year equipped with an M2 chip that will be marginally FASTER than the M1 chip. Apple is likely to introduce a 13-inch MacBook Pro, a Mac Mini, a 24-inch iMac, and a revamped MacBook Air, all of which will have the rumored M2 chip. Apple has made no indications regarding the M2 processor, although tech gurus anticipate the chip to feature the same eight-core design as the M1. However, its graphics cores may increase from seven or eight to nine or ten. Apple introduced its first in-house developed M1 chip in November of 2020.
