Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ family filed a wrongful-death suit against Alec Baldwin and other crew members of ‘Rust’, following her death on set. The lawyers representing Hutchins released a chilling animated video at a press conference on Tuesday showing how the crew’s irresponsibility on set cost Hutchins her life. Brian Panish, the family’s attorney, stressed that the lawsuit will help create a safer workplace in the future.
Hutchins died in October 2021 while operating the camera at the film set when Baldwin fired a prop gun that was supposed to be loaded with blanks.
