Six teenage students died in a two-vehicle collision in Tishomingo, 100 miles southwest of Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokesperson Sarah Stewart said the high school students were traveling in a passenger vehicle that crashed with a tractor-trailer around 12.30 PM.

Stewart confirmed all six students were females and the condition of the semi-truck driver is still unknown.

Oklahoma authorities started investigating the accident.
