Having racked up an impressive $23.25 million in only the second week since its release, actor Tom Holland and Sony’s ‘Uncharted’ has topped the U.S. box office with over $83 million in total domestic ticket sales. The action-adventure flick, adapted from the popular Sony Playstation game franchise of the same name, has gained more than $100 million globally so far. In a recent report by Deadline, Sony Pictures’ head honcho and CEO Tom Rothman declared the movie as the beginning of the next big hit franchise and praised the company’s decision to stick to a theatrical release
