Donald Trump's accountants, Mazars USA, have abruptly terminated all relations with the former president and his business. This news comes as a rude shock as Mazars’ departure has occurred amidst the compiling of his and Melania's tax returns. Mazars USA informed The Trump Organization's chief corporate counsel in a letter made public Monday that it had withdrawn from Trump and his business owing to concerns about the trustworthiness of crucial company financial statements. Mazars has generated annual financial statements — dubbed "Statements of Financial Condition" — for Trump since at least 2004.
