Two top officials spearheading ex-president Donald Trump’s Truth Social app have resigned from their positions this week.
Josh Adams, Chief Technology Officer, and Billy Boozer, Head of Product Development stepped down from their positions weeks after Truth Social launched in the App store.
Sources who still work for the app said, “If Josh has left… all bets are off,” referring to the tech chief Adams as the “brains'' behind Truth Social’s technology. They further added that Boozer had a conservative worldview that aligned with Trump and was necessary for the social media app’s development.
The departure of the two executives comes as a severe blow to Truth Social which is seeing dwindling downloads in the App Store and is yet to launch for Android users.
