The United States Agency for International Development and SpaceX joined hands to deliver 5000 Starlink satellite internet terminals to the Government of Ukraine.
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX. It allows users in remote or war-torn areas to connect to the Internet and communicate across the globe through the satellite constellation.
According to the USAID statement, Starlink terminals that look similar to a small TV dish can communicate with the outside world, even if Russia damages Ukraine’s fibre-optic or cellular communication infrastructure.
