The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lifted its ban on vapes by Juul Labs, potentially allowing the company to sell e-cigarettes again. The decision comes almost two years after the FDA initially asked the company to pull its products from stores amid concerns that it led to a vaping addiction among kids.

Juul claims its products help people quit smoking.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that e-cigarette use peaked at 28% among high schoolers in 2019 and grew nearly 50% from 2020-2022.

Despite the ban, Juul products have remained on shelves.
