X partners with Visa to launch its first payment wallet

X announced yesterday that it is partnering with Visa to launch a real-time digital payments tool, marking the first step towards Elon Musk’s vision of changing the platform into an “everything app.”

The upcoming digital wallet, X Money, which will be launched in the first quarter (per CNBC), will allow users to link their bank accounts and debit cards for easy peer-to-peer payments.
