Jones led with 17 points, while Stewart contributed 13 points and 15 rebounds. With the game tied late, Stewart hit two free throws to force overtime. Nyara Sabally added 13 points in the extra period, securing the win.
The victory ends a 27-season championship drought, making the Liberty the first New York pro basketball team to win a title since the Knicks in 1973.
