The most extravagant fight championship in UFC history will take place today at the $2.3 billion Las Vega Sphere. Hosting the event inside the big ball has cost more than $20 million, up from an initial budget of $8 million.

But CEO Dana White expects to make a record $22 million in ticket sales from the Noche UFC event.

Currently, the average ticket price for a seat is $1,700, according to the Gametime ticket app, Bloomberg reported. The UFC charged an average $120 per ticket for Noche UFC in 2023 at T-Mobile Arena.

The event, which will be the Sphere’s first live sporting event, will be headlined by UFC men’s bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley defending his title against Merab Dvalishvili.

The event will also see women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso against former champion Valentina Shevchenko.

The main fights start at 10:00 p.m. ET and can be watched on ESPN+ as a pay-per-view.
