Cluely, an app that allows users to cheat on everything, including job interviews, was launched this week.

It is an undetectable AI application that listens to conversations, tracks users’ screens and feeds real-time answers during interviews, calls, and even dates.

Cluely, co-created by Columbia undergrad Roy Lee Chungin who was suspended after he posted a video of him using it, says it has raised $5.3 million.

The tool was initially called Interview Coder and helped Lee land software jobs, including an internship at Amazon.

He said 80,000 have tried the free version, and 700 pay the $20 monthly subscription. He added that the AI app can simulate 10 hours of prep work, so you’ll never need to memorize anything again.

But despite going viral, it’s not exactly acing reviews. The Verge and 404 Media found Cluely slow, buggy, and prone to giving out generic AI responses.
