Prosecutors will charge Boeing with criminal fraud in a bid to seek a guilty plea from the planemaker or have it risk a trial over a charge tied to two fatal 737 Max crashes, according to Bloomberg.
It is yet unclear if the planemaker will accept a deal (it has until the end of the week to decide) as it would hinder Boeing from getting a government contract. The company is a major defense contractor.
