A two-month-old baby pygmy hippo born in Thailand’s Khao Kheow Open Zoo is attracting thousands of visitors every day after going viral on social media for being too adorable.

Moo Deng, whose name means “bouncing pig,” has millions of online followers thanks to her cute and clumsy behavior, like trying to nibble her handler despite not having teeth yet.

One video on X had garnered over 16 million views.

The pygmy hippo is an endangered species, with only 2,000 left in the wild.

The zoo where she lives usually receives 800 visitors on weekdays. But since Moo Deng’s rise to fame, it now sees up to 4,000 visitors a day and 20,000 over the weekend.

However, there have been instances of tourists tormenting the little hippo, which has led to the zoo officials adding additional security around her enclosure.
